Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of Ravindra Jadeja, touches his feet in awe after CSK's IPL victory

Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans on Monday by a margin of five wickets to claim their fifth IPL championship. Ravindra Jadeja, the club's outstanding all-arounder, helped his side win by scoring 10 runs in the last two balls, including a 4 and a 6. Cricket players and their families began partying on the pitch after the crushing victory.

There are several videos of CSK's post-victory celebrations doing the rounds on social media, and one in particular—in which Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of Ravindra Jadeja, is seen stroking her husband's feet—is finding a lot of favour online.

Rivaba Jadeja gave Jadega a heartfelt embrace in the now-viral video as she knelt down to do so. She had previously touched Jadega's feet as well. One of the supporters managed to record the poignant moment. In the video, Rivaba can be seen approaching Jadeja as he carefully extends his arms to hug her. She quickly alters her motion, stooping to touch his feet.

The video was published a short while ago. It has had almost 97,000 views since being shared, and counting. More than 2,400 others have also liked the video. People responded to the video by posting a variety of remarks.

While some commenters applauded Jadeja's wife for publicly embracing her culture, others criticised her for doing so while still serving as an MLA and for her appearance.

One Twitter user said, “Now that's true love.” Another said, “This video stole my heart.” “More and more respect for Mr. & Mrs. Jadeja,” a third person commented. “My goodness, love, this is what is called love, can we get a clearer video, this has my soul,” said a fourth. Another said, “This is so sweet,” as the fifth.
