There is good news for air travelers. Now they will be able to enjoy flying with a new airline Jetwings Airways. Jetwings Airways has said that it has received NOC to operate scheduled passenger air transport services. The airline initially plans to provide regional connectivity to passengers to various destinations in the North Eastern and Eastern regions of the country under the UDAN scheme. The airline said that Jetwings Airways is being launched to provide better service and comfortable travel to the passengers.
The Guwahati based airline has received all regulatory approvals and NOC from DGCA. Now this airline will provide regional connectivity to its passengers with premium economy service. For this, the company plans to introduce a fleet of modern flight deck turbo fan aircraft in addition to turbo propelled ones.

We are working closely with DGCA to complete our preparations and formalities for scheduled passenger airlines operations. There has always been a need in India for an airline operating within the country, which is basically from the North East. Jetwings Airways is ready to fly in the next few months, meeting this need.
