The actor who initially demanded Rs 100 crore for each movie is, in fact, a member of a film family. He is a Bollywood celebrity who has consistently dazzled audiences with his comedic, poignant, and action roles. The actor in question is now among the wealthiest in Bollywood; he was formerly paid only Rs 75 for his first job. He is Salman Khan, none else.

Salman Khan once earned a payment of Rs 75 for his background dance performance at a function with a buddy. Speaking on the same subject, he said in a PTI interview “I believe my first salary was around Rs 75.” I was dancing in the background of a Taj Hotel performance. My buddy brought me there to dance, and I went along for the pleasure of it. “After that, it increased to Rs 750 for the soft drink brand Campa Cola, and it was Rs 1,500 for the longest period of time,” he said. After that, I received payment of Rs 31,000 for Maine Pyar Kiya, which was eventually raised to Rs 75,000.”

Salman happened to be the first star to demand Rs 100 crore. The actor, who has starred in many blockbusters, received a payment of Rs 100 crore for Sultan in 2016, the film in which he co-starred with Anushka Sharma. Next, Salman received Rs 130 crore in compensation for Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. Salman inked a profit-sharing agreement to get between 60 and 70 percent of the total earnings from Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, both of which are YRF movies.

Shah Rukh Khan, in addition to Salman Khan, recently earned Rs 120 crore for the successful film Pathaan. For his films, Aamir Khan allegedly costs between Rs 100 and Rs 150 crores. For his part in Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, Rajinikanth received Rs 110 crore, while Kamal Haasan is said to demand Rs 150 crore for each movie. In addition, a lot of other stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and others demand a lot for their movies; however, Salman Khan initiated the practice of asking Rs 100 crore for each movie.

Salman Khan, meanwhile, recently starred in the financially successful film Tiger 3. Presenting Bigg Boss 17, a reality game program is the actor’s present job. Salman will work with Karan Johar on the Vishnu Vardhan-directed movie The Bull, which he will begin filming in February 2024.
