<p>On the YouTube discussion program “Just an Excuse,” IU made an appearance as the featured guest of the week! with Yang Se Chan, the co-host, and MC Yoo Jae Suk.</p>
<p>“On my days off, I just sit at my dining table,” the singer said.</p>
<p>“But you’re not sitting there the whole day, right?” Yang Se Chan enquired.</p>
<p>“I sit there all day, for 6-7 hours,” was IU’s response.</p>
<p>According to IU, being still for extended periods of time is beneficial, according to allkpop.com.</p>
<p>“I had no idea that other people didn’t do it all the time. However, I’ve been shooting a new drama for about a year now. And I kept being told I was weird on that shoot. People often go back and forth from the set to their waiting rooms and the bathroom in between takes.</p>
<p>The singer went on, “But until everyone returns to the location for the next cut, I remain in the same area while everything is being set up for the next scene. I was unaware that such behavior was unusual. Yet I think it’s better for me.</p>
<p>MC Yoo Jae Suk said, “I always imagined that you sat at home with your guitar, just strumming random tunes even on your days off,” after hearing about IU’s hobby.</p>
<p>“I’m not really like that, unless I really have to write new songs for an album,” IU said.</p>
